EeeDiary Terms of Service

1. Service Overview

1.1 Service Provider

1.2 Service Definition

EeeDiary (hereinafter "Service") is a group diary sharing application that enables users to form invitation-based groups to write diaries, share photos, and communicate through comments via a mobile application service.

1.3 Service Features

• Private Groups: Formation of private groups through invitation codes
• Multimedia: Diary writing including text and photos
• Real-time Communication: Communication between group members through comments
• Multi-language Support: Support for Korean, English, and Japanese
• Real-time Synchronization: Real-time data synchronization between group members

1.4 Terms Effectiveness and Consent

• By using the App, the User agrees to the Terms and Privacy Policy
• Any changes to the terms will be notified through app updates, and continued use will be deemed to have agreed to the changed terms

2. Definition of Terms

The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows:

1. "Service": Refers to the "EeeDiary" app and related services that members can use through mobile devices.
2. "Member": Refers to a person who enters into a service agreement with the Developer according to these Terms and uses the "EeeDiary" service.
3. "Group": Refers to the minimum unit of space where members collectively write and share diaries.
4. "Content": Refers to all information including text, photos, images, videos, etc. that members post or share within the Service.
5. "Invitation Code": Refers to unique identification information required for new members to join existing groups.

3. User Obligations

3.1 Account Management

• Users are responsible for the security of their Firebase accounts and app data
• Users are responsible for managing authentication accounts such as Google accounts or Apple IDs

3.2 Lawful Use

• The Service must be used only for personal diary sharing purposes
• The Service cannot be used for illegal or inappropriate purposes
• Content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights cannot be registered

3.3 Data Management

• User Responsibility: All data is stored in Firebase cloud, and the responsibility for account management lies entirely with the user
• Backup Recommendation: It is recommended to regularly back up important data
• Data Loss: While the Developer makes every effort to operate the Service, we are not responsible for data loss due to user account management errors
• Accuracy Responsibility: Users are responsible for the accuracy of entered data (diary content, photos, etc.)

3.4 Minor Usage

• If users under 14 years of age wish to use the Service, they must obtain consent from their legal guardian
• When minors use the Service, they must comply with relevant laws and regulations

3.5 Prohibited Activities

Members must not engage in the following activities:

1. Registering false information when applying for membership or changing information
2. Misappropriating others' information
3. Infringing on the Developer's or others' copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights
4. Damaging others' reputation or interfering with their business
5. Publishing or posting obscene or violent messages, images, audio, or other information contrary to public order and morals on the Service
6. Using invitation codes for illegal purposes or distributing them without authorization
7. Other illegal or improper activities

4. Service Provision and Use

4.1 Service Use

• The Service is provided free of charge
• Group Creation and Invitation: Members can create groups within the Service and invite other members to the group through invitation codes to write diaries together
• Diary Writing and Sharing: Members can write diaries using content such as text and photos within groups and share them with group members
• Service Privacy: The "EeeDiary" service is intended solely for diary exchange between invited members. All content is disclosed only to the relevant group members and is not disclosed externally

4.2 Service Limitations

• The Service is intended for individuals and small groups and may not be suitable for large organizations
• Functions requiring network connection may be limited depending on internet environment
• There is a limit of up to 10 images per diary entry

4.3 Technical Support

• Technical issues with the app can be inquired about via email (contact@besl.me)
• While we make every effort to support compatibility issues due to operating system updates or device changes, we do not guarantee perfect compatibility in all situations

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Service Intellectual Property Rights

• All intellectual property rights including source code, design, and trademarks of the EeeDiary app belong to the Developer
• Users can use the app only for service use purposes and cannot reverse engineer, copy, or distribute it

5.2 User Content

• The copyright of content posted by members within the Service belongs to the author of that content
• Members must guarantee that their posted content does not infringe on others' copyrights and other rights
• Members permit the Developer to use their posted content within the Service through methods such as reproduction, transmission, and display for the operation and provision of the Service. This license is valid within the scope necessary for the operation and improvement of the Service
• If the Developer determines that content posted by members violates relevant laws and these Terms, the Developer may delete such content or refuse posting without prior notice

5.3 Open Source Libraries

• This app uses various open source libraries and complies with each library's license
• Major libraries used: Flutter, Riverpod, Firebase, Freezed, etc.

6. Disclaimers and Liability Limitations

6.1 Service Provision Responsibility

• The Service is provided "as is," and the Developer does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or stability of the Service
• The Developer is not responsible for data loss due to app errors, device problems, user mistakes, etc.
• The Developer is exempt from responsibility for service provision when unable to provide the Service due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure

6.2 Damage Compensation Limitations

• The Developer's responsibility for direct and indirect damages arising from Service use is limited within the scope permitted by relevant laws
• The Developer is not responsible for users' business losses, data losses, opportunity losses, etc.
• The Developer is not responsible for service use obstacles due to members' fault
• The Developer is not responsible for damages arising from information or materials obtained by members through Service use
• The Developer is not responsible for the reliability, accuracy, and other content of content posted by members on the Service

6.3 Third-party Services

• Issues arising from the use of third-party services such as Firebase and Google authentication follow the terms of the respective service providers
• The Developer is not responsible for impacts due to policy changes or service interruptions of third-party services

7. Inappropriate Content and User Protection

7.1 Reporting Features

• Members can report inappropriate content (posts, comments) to the operations team through the reporting feature
• Reports are classified into the following categories: Spam/Ads, Harassment/Bullying, Hate Speech, Sexual/Explicit, Violence/Threats, Illegal Activity, Other
• All reports are reviewed within 24 hours of submission, and if a violation is confirmed, the content may be deleted or the author may face sanctions
• Abuse of the reporting feature is prohibited, and false reports may result in sanctions against the reporter

7.2 Blocking Features

• Members can block other members within a group
• Posts and comments from blocked members will not be displayed to the member who blocked them
• Blocking is managed per group and can be unblocked at any time
• The blocking feature is for personal convenience and does not mean the blocked member's service use is restricted

7.3 Content Moderation Policy

• The operations team reviews reported content within 24 hours
• Content that violates Article 3.5 (Prohibited Acts) of these Terms may be deleted without prior notice
• In cases of repeated or serious violations, account use may be restricted or suspended
• Inquiries related to reports and content moderation can be made to contact@besl.me

7.4 Minor Protection

• Immediate action is taken to prevent exposure of inappropriate content to users under 14 years of age
• Inappropriate content targeting minors is prioritized for review and deletion

8. Contract Termination and Use Restrictions

8.1 Member Termination

• Members can terminate the service agreement (withdraw membership) at any time through the settings function within the Service
• Upon member withdrawal, diary content written by that member may remain in the group, and personal identification information will be processed according to the privacy policy

8.2 Developer Termination and Use Restrictions

• The Developer may restrict service use or terminate the service agreement through warnings, temporary suspension, permanent use suspension, etc. if members violate the obligations of these Terms or interfere with normal service operation
• When the Developer terminates the service agreement, all member information is deleted from the Service. However, content posted in other members' groups may not be deleted

9. Terms Changes and Service Termination

9.1 Terms Changes

• These Terms may be changed for changes in relevant laws or service improvements
• When Terms are changed, notice will be provided through app updates, and important changes will be separately announced
• If you do not agree to the changed Terms, you must discontinue Service use

9.2 Service Termination

• The Developer may terminate the Service for unavoidable reasons, in which case notice will be provided at least 30 days in advance
• Upon service termination, member data will be safely processed according to the privacy policy

9.3 Data Portability

• We strive to provide technical support for data transfer upon service termination or account changes
• Specific methods for data backup and transfer will be provided together with service termination notices

10. Privacy Protection

The Developer strives to protect members' personal information according to relevant laws including the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection. The protection and use of personal information is governed by relevant laws and the Developer's separate privacy policy.

11. Miscellaneous

11.1 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These Terms are interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes related to Service use have Busan District Court as the exclusive jurisdiction court

11.2 Terms Effectiveness

• Even if some provisions of these Terms are determined to be invalid, it does not affect the effectiveness of the remaining provisions
