NowCam Privacy Policy

NowCam (hereinafter "App") processes minimal personal information for the following purposes:

  • App stability improvement and error analysis
  • App improvement through anonymized usage statistics collection
  • Advertising service provision
  • Multi-language support service provision (Korean, English, Japanese)
  • Timestamp camera functionality provision

  • Camera: Photo capture and timestamp addition functionality
  • Storage: Saving captured photos and importing photos from album

2.4 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored only on user devices and not transmitted externally:

  • Captured photos (with timestamps)
  • App settings (language selection, camera settings, etc.)
  • User preference settings

3. Personal Information Processing and Retention Period

  • Firebase Data: Maximum 14 months (default 2 months) according to Google's data retention policy
  • AdMob Data: According to Google's advertising data retention policy
  • Local Data: Until app deletion
  • Captured Photos: Stored on device until manually deleted by user

4. Third-Party Disclosure of Personal Information

This app utilizes the following trusted third-party services:

4.1 Google/Firebase (United States)

  • Purpose: App analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration management, advertising services
  • Processed Data: Anonymized usage statistics, crash logs, advertising identifiers, app configuration data
  • Legal Basis: CCPA Section 1798.140 (Business Purpose)

4.2 Google AdMob (United States)

  • Purpose: Advertising service provision
  • Processed Data: Advertising identifiers, advertising interaction data
  • Legal Basis: CCPA Section 1798.140 (Consumer Consent)

  • All sensitive data stored only on user devices
  • Transmitted data is encrypted
  • Minimal permissions requested only

  • Safe configuration management through Firebase Remote Config

  • Data verification through Firebase dashboard (upon developer request)

6.2 Right to Delete

  • Complete deletion of local data upon app deletion
  • Manual deletion of captured photos available
  • App permission revocation available in Google account

6.3 California Consumer Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

  • Right to Know: Request information about personal information collected
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information
  • Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: Not face discrimination for exercising privacy rights

6.4 Advertising Personalization Settings

  • Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Ad personalization settings
  • iOS: Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising > Personalized Ads

7. Children's Privacy Protection

This app is not directed at children under 13 years of age and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in compliance with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).

8. International Transfer

The Google/Firebase services used by this app maintain servers in the United States. Data is processed under appropriate protection measures and complies with applicable data transfer regulations.

9. Privacy Policy Changes

When the privacy policy is changed, notification will be provided through app updates, and important changes will be announced separately.
